In the scope of an ongoing automotive project for a major German OEM customer, we are looking for Linux embedded engineer / Functional Owners to join our team, with a special focus on infotainment functionalities.
Responsibilities
- support system engineering activities, including requirements management
- Change Request Management
- comprehend the entire car ecosystem to pinpoint the required software changes for seamless integrations.
- support the detection and identification of issues, providing a first analysis based on test bench activities
- support suppliers on the design of the solution, contribute to the development of advanced infotainment features/functions and document them using the requirements tool chain.
- steer the issues-fixing process, by talking to the different stakeholders
- Engage with customers in system architecture discussions through workshops and design meetings.
- Take charge of project scheduling, management, and issue tracking to ensure timely and efficient execution
- Generate technical reports and develop various presentation materials to communicate issues, achievements, and technical information
Qualifications
- Previous working experience in automotive field (infotainment is preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle, including systems engineering, integration, and testing in related domains.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in systems development including Linux/Android engineering.
- Knowledge of Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), CAPL scripting.
- Knowledge of common vehicle bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc).
- Previous knowledge of automotive processes and tools for requirement management (e.g. Doors and Jira) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent Italian spoken and written production
- Excellent English spoken and written production
Location
The job will be partially performed in Turin, with the possibility of working from home.
